Burglar Swipes Over $1K From East Hills CVS, Suspect At Large

Police are searching for a man who they say stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a Long Island CVS.

It happened on Sunday, March 24 in East Hills.

According to Nassau County Police, a man walked into the CVS at 421 Glen Cove Road just after 8:45 p.m. and headed into the employee stock room.

Once he was in, he began taking assorted merchandise worth approximately $1,600 in total and fled the scene.

Police said the suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black and white sneakers, and a surgical mask.

The investigation is ongoing.
